The game is a Blue Lock-themed squad builder where you roll 200+ anime characters, slot eleven into a lineup, and raise squad OVR through rerolls and refreshes. You do not need Robux to progress competitively if you follow the free-resource path outlined below.

Before You Start

Three facts every new player should know:

Group membership is mandatory for codes. Join The LockerRoom Roblox group before attempting any promo code. Codes fail silently or show errors without membership.

Finish the tutorial first. The Settings menu — where codes are redeemed — only becomes available after you complete the short in-game tutorial. Launch the game, follow the onboarding prompts, and enter the lobby before hunting codes.

Reroll replaces your weakest player. Every reroll swaps out the lowest-OVR squad member for a new random pull. This is not a full squad reset. Read Reroll Strategy before spending tokens.

Complete these steps in order during your first session:

1. Join The LockerRoom group on Roblox (free, required for codes)

This sequence takes 15-20 minutes and delivers more starting rerolls than most players earn in their first week of random play.

Understanding Core Mechanics

Roll / Reroll — The gacha system pulls random Blue Lock characters. Reroll specifically replaces your lowest-OVR lineup member with a new pull.

Refresh — Resets the character options in your current roll without replacing a squad member. Use when your pool shows multiple strong candidates.

Squad OVR — Average overall rating across your eleven-player lineup. Higher OVR improves match outcomes and leaderboard rank.

Rarity tiers — Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Elusive (added in the ELUSIVES Update). Higher rarity means higher stat ceilings.

Cash / Coins — In-game currency from login rewards, quests, and expired codes like SpiriXSolos (which once granted 20k cash). Used for additional rolls and squad costs.

Where to Redeem Codes

Sendou NPC Explained

Sendou is the lobby NPC who rewards players for supporting the game. After liking, favoriting, and joining the group, walk up to Sendou and interact to verify your actions and claim up to 10 free rerolls. This is separate from code rewards and stacks on top of them.

Make Sendou part of every login alongside Daily Quests and Login Rewards.

Characters to Chase Early

Consult the Tier List for full rankings. As of July 2026, prioritize:

• NEL Isagi, NEL Rin, NEL Nagi — Elusive-tier S-rank from the ELUSIVES update
• Kaiser, Bachira, Barou, Shidou, Sae — Legendary and Epic staples

Common Beginner Mistakes

Spending all rerolls immediately — Early rerolls are valuable, but blind spending wastes tokens. Target your weakest OVR slot after checking the tier list.

Skipping group join — Every code fails without group membership. Join first, always.
